UNC CHARLOTTE HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING HONOR BAND

We are excited to host our Annual UNC Charlotte High School Marching Honor Band on Saturday, September 16th, 2023! The Pride of Niner Nation Marching Band offers this unique opportunity for all high school students (woodwinds, brass, drumline, colorguard, and twirler students) to experience taking the field to perform alongside the PNNMB for an audience of over 10,000 people. The first 100 students that register will:

-       Rehearse with the Pride of Niner Nation Marching Band

-       Interact with Department of Music faculty

-       Tour our campus

-       Watch pre-game from the sidelines

-       Play in the stands next to college students

-       Perform a halftime show for our fans

*All High School Students that register must be good standing members in their current high school band program. High School Band Directors will be contacted for approval.

Tentative Schedule (subject to change):

1:00pm: High School Students check-in at Band Practice Field

1:30pm: Rehearsal with the PNNMB

3:15pm: Game-Day Meal and Q&A Session

4:45pm: Marching Honor Band line up and depart for the Stadium

6:00pm: Kickoff vs. Georgia State

Cost: $30 (includes a ticket to the football game, Game-day meal and snacks, and Marching Honor Band T-Shirt)

NOTE: If you receive an emailed receipt for your registration, rest assured that you are on our list for this event!  We will be sending release forms, as well as more information about the event, to everyone in early September.  Thank You!
